Spears
Event: Spears.
No target No Dinner
Purpose: To recognise, understand and appreciate the skill and knowledge of our ancestors.
Preparation: Stretch your throwing arm by loosen your muscles by shaking your arm muscles. Practise a technique for direction, accuracy and power.
One of the MOST primitive weapons that you can hunt with is the spear. Spear hunting has existed since time immemorial. It is one of the earliest forms of hunting our species has used to dominate the landscape. This is exercise is designed to gain an appreciation for living and surviving in the wild, The importance of feeling and respecting the sacred and fragile web of life.
The spear is seen on cave walls where some of the first humans would paint or create artwork.
This weapon hasn’t been lost to time either. People still practice hunting with this weapon in today’s world, as well. In more technologically advanced societies, spear hunting is more of a sport than a necessity for survival.
Tug of War
Event: Tug of War.
Survival of the fittest
Purpose: To work as a team, recognise your strengths and find balance and power .
Preparation: Stretch your body, both arms, hips, legs and back. Jump on the spot and fire up.

Blind Damper
Event: Blind Damper.
Trust your partner's direction
Purpose: To work as a team, trust your partners commands and get the job done
Preparation: Stretch your body, both arms, hips, legs and back. Jump on the spot and fire up.

Event: Outback Rescue.
