Calling all star gazers!

Dan Falzon • Oct 07, 2023

Look up and see the year out by spending more time under the stars!

As the year winds down, the night sky is putting on a celestial show that you won't want to miss. Here's what to look out for in October, November, and December:

🍂 October:

🔭 Look for the Orionid meteor shower peaking around October 21-22. Find a dark spot away from city lights and witness these shooting stars streaking across the sky.

🌟 November:

🌙 Keep an eye on the waxing crescent moon for some stunning conjunctions with Jupiter and Saturn. It's a perfect time to spot these gas giants in the southwestern evening sky.

❄️ December:

✨ The Geminid meteor shower will light up the mid-December nights with its bright meteors. Best viewing is expected on the night of December 13-14.

Grab your telescopes, binoculars, or just your curiosity and venture out to explore the cosmos this fall and winter. Share your favorite celestial sights with us using #StargazingSeason and let's all marvel at the beauty of our universe together! 🌠🔭💫 #Astronomy #StarryNights #CosmicWonder
